Blocking
Blocking users enables you to set the tone for your experience on Moonbeam. To block a user, you can click on their username and select the "Block User" button that appears on their profile preview. Alternatively, you can go to their profile page and select the "Block User" option from the three dots in the upper right corner. Users won't be notified if you block them.
When you've blocked somebody,
- You won't be able to see each other's posts, comments, streams, VODs, or clips.
- Any existing follows between you will be removed and you won't be able to follow each other.
- If you are in a Realm with them, their messages will be hidden from you.
Hidden Realm messages from users you have blocked are replaced by text saying "This message was sent from somebody you've blocked. See it anyway?" Clicking on the text will reveal the message from the blocked user.
You can unblock a user from your profile settings by clicking on your avatar, navigating to the "Blocked Users" page, and clicking the "Unblock" button. When you unblock somebody you had previously followed you will not be following them after they are unblocked. Unblocked users won't receive a notification if you've unblocked them, though they will start seeing your content again.
Reporting
You can report any content you find objectionable on Moonbeam. To report content on Moonbeam, look for the report button. This is indicated by a flag symbol, and can be found beneath stream titles, at the bottom of posts, or next to the title of VODs.
When you report something, the Moonbeam team is alerted. We'll review the content according to our community standards, and, if necessary, remove the content from the platform.
