VODs

Learn about Video On Demand (VOD) features and management on Moonbeam.


What are VODs?

VODs (Video On Demand) is a recording of your stream that is available to watch on Moonbeam after the stream ends. VODs are created and instantly published by default on Moonbeam. You can turn this off from the VODs tab of your creator dashboard (accessible by the video camera icon).

How can I delete a VOD?

You can see all of your published VODs in the VODs tab of your creator dashboard. Select the three dots next to the VOD you wish to delete and click "Delete".

Can I edit a VOD?

Currently you can edit the title, description and thumbnail of a VOD. You can see all of your published VODs in the VODs tab of your creator dashboard. Select the three dots next to the VOD you wish to delete and click "edit". You can type to change the title or description. Click on the thumbnail to upload a new image. Make sure you click "Save" when you're done!

Where can I view VODs?

We have a list of Featured VODs on the Moonbeam home page. Alternatively, you can view VODs on a user's profile page or within a Realm.

How can I publish a VOD to a specific Realm?

When you edit a VOD you can add additional Realms where you have permission to stream.

I don't want to publish this VOD just yet. How do I un-publish a VOD?

You can see all of your published VODs in the VODs tab of your creator dashboard. Select the three dots next to the VOD you wish to delete and click "Unpublish". You can publish the VOD again in the same place when you're ready!
